RSNA Scientific Abstract was accepted: Simultaneous Segmentation of Abnormal Activities from Hybrid MRI-PET Images

My recent study (preliminary version of the more general mMR quantification) on segmentation and quantification of abnormal activities from hybrid MRI-PET images was accepted in scientific program of RSNA 2012.

This work, and the upcoming results in relevant journals, are the first quantification methods in the literature and include accurate joint segmentation of lesions from mri and pet and computing volumetry, morphology, and activity related concentration measurements..

Center for Infectious Disease Imaging (CIDI) of NIH is the pioneer in simultaneous segmentation and accurate quantification of joint anatomical-functional images such as PET-CT and MRI-PET. Recently accomplished results, methods, and free softwares will be available for scientists and clinicians who are interested in this topic!
