Automatic Segmentation Methods for Abnormal Activities from PET, PET-CT, and MRI-PET Images

My recent educational exhibit proposal submitted to RSNA 2012 has been accepted!

Hopefully, I will present our novel segmentation methods and their comparison to the conventional methods used in routine clinics. The methods I will present have superiority over conventional methods through accuracy, efficiency, reproducibility, and robustness. Not only accurate segmentation of functional images (pet), but also our novel methods for  joint segmentation of anatomical and functional images (from pet-ct or brand new modality mri-pet)  will be also presented.

the title of the proposal is:

Automatic Segmentation Methods for Abnormal Activities from PET, PET-CT, and MRI-PET Images

by U.Bagci, J.K. Udupa, K.Miller-Jaster, and D.J. Mollura

RSNA12 is going to be held in McCormic Place, Chicago, Illinois in 25-30 November 2012.
